Workshops & Training

 

Training is only part of the journey to competency development. Training by itself is usually a waste of money or a check box exercise. The Competency Journey includes four stages:

  1. Creating readiness to learn by communicating how it relates to your work and how you will be supported to apply what you learn

  2. Attending the training event and giving it your full attention

  3. Applying what you learned supported by mentoring, coaching and reflective practice

  4. Sharing what you learned when you apply your learning; what worked and what didn’t
